Other people see Jess as quiet and shy. While true, her observant nature gives way to an inner trickster. While not one for obvious short pranks, Jess will tell stories or frame information in ways meant to make create reactions. She once told her younger sister the present decorations on a Christmas garland were filled with little treasures and treats. When Jess’ sister unwrapped the first gift box to find styrofoam, Jess insisted some presents were “fakes” to test “who was determined and who was a lazy, undeserving child.” Jess convinced her sister to unwrap every present in search of a treat.
As an adult, Jess uses her ability to be overlooked to her surprise her friends and family. She can observe others and sneak in a timely compliment or gift. She sees others strengths and weaknesses and builds around those instead of stepping out and declaring herself. Beyond the shy and sometimes mean child, is a confident woman who approaches challenges from directions she hopes to surprise others and inspire new thought.
Hobbies include reading, playing video games, taking photos, researching oddities, and philosophic conversation. Jess believes she lives a charmed life and practices gratitude frequently.
